Don Wesley Toalson February 18, 1942 - July 1, 2009 Biography Don Wesley Toalson, longtime resident of San Antonio, Texas, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at Southeast Baptist Hospital in San Ant onio, Texas, at the age of 67 years, 4 months, 13 days. Don was born February 18, 1942, in Atascosa County, Texas, the son of Gladford Toalson and Essie Erwin Toalson. He attended schools in Charlotte , Texas, and worked with TxDOT for many years. Don married Mittie Jenkins on July 29, 1972, in Pleasanton, Texas. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Don was a member of United Me thodist Church in Charlotte, Texas. Don is survived by his loving wife of over thirty-six years, Mittie Toalson of San Antonio; his god-daughter, Jessica Cervera and husband Lonnie of Jacksonville, No rth Carolina; and numerous nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Mr. Toalson was preceded in death by his parents, Gladford and Essie Toalson; his brother, Gladford Toalson, Jr.; his si ster, Iris Formby; and his brother, Andy Toalson. Visitation was held from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. Sunday, July 5, 2009, at Vinyard Funeral Home Chapel in Floresville, Texas. Funeral services were hel d at 10:00 A.M. Monday, July 6, 2009, at Vinyard Funeral Home Chapel in Floresville, officiated by Pastor Janet Fluth, Floresville United Methodist Church. Interment followed at Floresville City Cemet ery in Floresville, Texas. Serving as pallbearers were David Jenkins, Brian Jenkins, Drew Stuart, Andy Stuart, Eddie Jenkins, Scott Alsobrook, Ed Alsobrook, Darrell Jenkins, Sam Flores, Jeff Lambeck , David Georg, Louis Vrana, Darren Marty, and James Robey.
