Catherine and her child died during childbirth From Judy Frizzell Gerring Catherine Margaret Norwood was Mom's (Juanita Norwood) sister that died when she was about 17 I think. They were one year apart in age from what I remember. She was married to a man that didn't believ e in doctors (religion reason) and she suffered a lot. She had bad varicose veins in her legs and she stuck needles in them thinking they would drain and she would be fine then. Mother said they had t o wrap her legs in bandages because they drained all the time. They were swollen and awful. I think she might have finally died of kidney failure or something. The family hated her husband and blame d him for her death. They were both pregnant at the same time and they had filled 2 trunks with homemade baby clothes for the coming babies. Mother said the hardest thing she ever did was open that tr unk after Margaret's death and use those clothes for her own baby which was Bobby Gene Frizzell, my older brother. Bitter sweet you might say.
