They first lined in Hopkins County, then movedto Eastland County before 1880, and then to Fisher Coun ty between 1900 and 1908. The oldest known member of the family is Thomas J. Bone. He was born in Indiana, 1 Jan. 1833. His mother and father were both born in VA. He married Sarah Jane (.....) 15 No v. 1855 in Tarrant now Sulpher Springs, Hopking Co. TX. She was born 20 Sept 1840, in KY. Her mother and father were also born in KY. Thomas and Sarah had thirteen children and sixlived: William W., S amual Johnson, N.J. (dau), J.W. (son), B. Frank, and C.E.(dau), Thomas served in the Confederate Statesof American in both Co. C, Burnett's 1st Battalion, TX Sharp Shooters and in Co. G. Young's 9th T X Infantry. Thomas died, 9 March 1906, an was the first to be buried in the Hobbs Cemetery. Sarah died, 1 March 1918, and was buried beside Thomas. Samuel Johnson Bone and his parents were the onl y members of the family to come to Fisher Co. Sam (as he was known)was born in TX, March 1861, probably in Hopkins Co. He married Martha Jane Voss in 1885 in Hopkins Co. She was born inTX. 29 Aug 1864 . Her father was born in TN. and her mother in IN. They had two children: Eua Elenor and Charles L. Samdied in1929 and was buried at Hobbs Cemetery. Martha died, 4 Feb. 1950, as was buried with him . Charlie L. Bone was born in TX. Oct 1889. He married Ava Hawkins and they moved to Hanford, CA. They had two children:Noel and Felix. Una Elenor Bone was born in the town of Dike in Hopkins Co, 1 4 Nov.1887. She married Edgar Jackson Hawkins, 16 Dec. 1908 in Fisher Co. They lived their lives in Fisher Co. dry land frarming and ranching a few head of cattle and horses. Edcontinued to increas e the size of his life by constant attention and hard work. They had two children: Samuel Kenneth and MaryLois. Una died from surgical complication in Abilene, 2 Jun 1934 and is buried in the Hobb s Cemetery with Ed who died 15 Oct.1964, of a heart attack while hauling water for his stock. Samuel Kenneth Hawkins was born in Fisher Co, 29 Nov 1914. He married Geralding McCombs 24 Aug 1941. Th ey movedaway from Fisher Co, and had one daughter, Deanna, who married Hugh McLeod. Mary Lois Hawkins was born in Fisher Co. 30 Sept 1918. She married Jack Kinard 19 Dec 1940 in OK. Jack was born2 9 Oct 1916 in Van Alstyne, TX. They had two children: Lee Edwin and Dan Thomas. They alson moved away from Fisher Co.and lived in several TX. cities Lee Married Kareen Jennette Mendenhall and lives i n Austin, TX and Dan married Rita Sligerand lives in Denver, CO.
